As for trial by media, and again if true, why not let the world see just what's allegedly happened? There is so much the courts don't let the public see and it's all kept behind closed doors. Good for her if this has been going on in her life.

Agree with all of that Brin.
The police need to investigate it and deal with him.
Just reading some of the comments on Twitter are not helpful.
In fact his defence will probably argue now he can’t access a fair trial because of al of the reporting and public knowledge.
Like I said throw the book at him when sentenced it’s abhorrent.

Because it would jeopardise a trial Brin mate. I don't just mean him getting a fair trial I also mean his lawyers arguing that he couldn't get a fair trial and so the case bring dismissed. This should be a police and judiciary matter. NOT an Instagram matter. Damage is probably already done. Could you get 12 men and women honest and true who aren't now aware of this? If not, you don't have a jury.

Seriously though, I don't think it matters not what's been shown on Twitter as there will be many folk out there, especially the middle aged/elderly who don't even use Twitter so, if they are chosen for a jury service that may not affect their view on the matters. The point I think you make that may prejudice any case is it's all over the tabloids with The Mirror carrying the story before it's even been investigated. Don't they realise what damage they can cause to any case ever reaching a court?
