If all us fans can see, surely the players can too.. only person not to is VI.
Thank you VI, genuinely hope you all the best apart from playing against us.
Now, we need to get our season back on track. It could well be a damage limitation exercise for remainder of the season. Unless the top teams mess it up big time.
Valid points Regis buddy. I believe that contracted players, notwithstanding their disagreement with the manager’s tactics and demands, should perform to the best of their ability in acknowledgment of the ticket paying fans.
Sadly, this ‘players power’ theme is evident throughout modern professional football.
Still we will maintain our season tickets as the love of the Baggies surpasses my dogma!

Its pretty straight forward in my book. You do as you're told by the manager. What has likely happened is player power has ruled again because of 1 lean spell results wise. Many a side has come down from the PL and struggled and been relegated again. I said this to the Ipswich Town fans a few years ago who were banging on about Mick McCarthy and I will say it to yourselves- Be careful what you wish for! You've had a manager who had the audacity to want to manage and ensure players conformed. A manager who didn't pander to the modern day professional footballers' ego. Get him back to Oakwell!!

I feel more relief than jubilation, his style of football was never the Albion way and fans won't tolerate it.
I wish him all the best for the future wherever that may be.
If it's Bruce let it be a short term contract to steady the ship.
We need to get back to basics and start playing a bit of football.
Not expecting much this season, we have to think long term.

Totally agree with all the above!👍
We maybe have a very slight chance of turning things around in time to make play offs this season but very much doubt it and, anyway, we are no way ready for the premiership. Hope that we don't do knee jerk appointment so Bruce on a short term contract to see us through the rest of this season and then a more serious rethink to rebuild seems a good shout. Glad Ken gone but real issue is Lai and things won't really change until we get a new owner who is able to invest properly.

I agree to an extent that contracted players must and ‘Val must be obeyed’.. 😄 joking aside they should do what they are paid to do. But there has to come a point that a manger has to reflect on his tactics and realise what isn’t working and change tact fast. If a company director kept making the same losses and not listening to employees as to where the problems lie, then there’s only one outcome here. Val probably is being too oppressive, stubborn and hasn’t worked, if we were in the top two then it be different.. but we are not, and teams have sussed us out.. because Val is Val doing his same thing.

Id hardly say delirious is the right word Mick lol, but it did cheer me up when I heard. As it does whenever somebody turns his back on my own club, and it then all falls apart for him.

I do wonder if he knew what he was taking on, at your club with obvious higher expectation levels and ambition. And we always thought he has a stubborn way about him, with absolutely no plan B if things aren't working out.

I would wager that the worst miscalculation he made was regarding the tw@t that he would be working for. We will probably never know if he was denied the players that he wanted by the miser at the top. I wish Val well, a decent bloke.

Yeah Ketts, in fairness he put us on the map so to speak last season and I/we won't forget that. The players also knew not to mess with him, and gave him that brick wall mentality.
But Im sure as fans, we've all cheered when a manager or a player left us but ended up flopping.
And by the sounds of it, he likes to goto clubs where the foreign owners an't got a scooby doo lol.

    Your present manager must be shaking like a s h I t t I n g dog after hearing about Val's sacking!

I'll wager that he's been looking at the fine print in his contract tonight.
