Hard to accept ? Playing like we have most of the season is hard to accept , playing like we did tonight isn't , we were by far the better side , also the long awaited effort was put in by all the team , I can't fault them tonight , lack of confidence , no experienced leader on the pitch, it's not the player's fault tonight they gave their all , and I'm pleased at the performance , but not the result , a bozzy eyed linesman and a Premiership Referee made a right howler to deprive us of at the very least one point,
I've not been to the match Shads , I watched from home , but what I saw tonight impressed me overall , slowly but surely improving , I hope it continues , I will say as I see the game , if it's good , bad , or indifferent I will say so , providing I have watched the match !!,
Best Team Lost Tonight , smook that !!!!!
I agree with all that Roma, but what Im getting at is its hard to accept failing to beat these bogey teams like Cardiff.
They regularly play an awful brand of football, but we can never beat them for some reason, regardless of which league we're in and how well or bad we're doing.
Tonight, and Saturday, I didn’t get out my front room Shadrack. I DID watch it though . I didn’t go because I could not stomach another performance “in the flesh” that we’ve been subjected to over the past months. I’ve spent thousands following these players, probably more than Conway, Chien Lee and Grace put together. I’ve stayed away because they have been cr@p. I’ve stayed away because I can’t get the enthusiasm to get in the car and spend money on top of money and be miserable. Spending four and a half hours out of the house and coming home £60 lighter and in a Sh!t mood. Football is supposed to be enjoyed, not endured. It’s too expensive now to keep going if it makes you miserable.
From the board to the players, this season, it’s been rotten . The rot hasn’t only been the board. The players have to take some responsibility too. Helik, Britttain, Anderson, Styles, Woodrow, Jordan Williams, Palmer all haven’t performed individually this season as well as they did last season……. Only Collins has kept his performance rate from last season.
Fair weather fan? No, I don’t think so…. Just someone who is looking at a bigger picture, It’s not just the board. Tonight was the first decent performance since QPR away. (First half only). Other than the new lad, Vita and Williams, I reckon the rest were average tonight, better than the poor they have been, but still average. That’s not enough.
A frustrating result. A result we got because we couldn’t score.
Same old.
I don’t think there can be much criticism of the players.
Ok - centre backs made an error for their goal.
BUT generally speaking the coach and the players can take much credit from that performance.
That can’t be said of the owners that have been outed by the CEO for dictating the style of play.
We have some really good players at the club - and I know not many are convinced of this but IMO this season we have seen two excellent managers.
But nothing will come good in the near future because a style of play has been imposed by the owners.
It looks good in midfield - the tippy tappy play is attractive - but there is no end product.
We can either wait for the club to get relegated and spend season after season in the 1st Division waiting for the end product to materialise.
Or - the club changes direction and reverts back to strength in the forward line.
This January window the owners have obviously decided to stay with the tippy tappy style of play - disregarding the need for the strength of a target striker.
And of course also dispensing with the idea of an older head, a leader, in midfield.
IMO - two big mistakes that will see us relegated.

You can't say that Jules, because he thinks Collins is worse than Jack Walton (and his famous frozen icy warehouse). 😁
The manner of the goals we concede this season is comical. This isn't only happening occasionally, it's happening almost every week. Thadda thowt penny might a dropped bi nar that it simply can't go on and needs to be rectified.
What's the point in saying these players are trying their best when they're not? That Cardiff goal came from one of their players simply wanting it more, simply being more determined, showing more desire and showing more hunger and strength than 2 of our players combined.
Their goal wasn't the result of superb play or a moment of magic, no it was just sheer bloody mindedness and desire to get the ball in the net. We didn't and haven't displayed that kind of determination all season. Nar in my book that's not good enough. Sorry if that sounds harsh but that second half was pretty poor against a poor team that were begging to be beaten. We shouldn't have lost that game but we did so, and for the exact same reason we have lost many games this season- half hearted defending and lack of concentration.
All respect to fans that go and spend their time and hard earned money. They deserve far better. Whilst the board are most accountable it's time that this dogshyte defending and half arsed attitude was called out too.
Chronicle man in the right place if the linesman wasn’t.
Will any action be taken for him jumping into the spectators knocking a steward for six celebrating the offside goal ?
