Should such a person be entitled to earn a living? Of course they should.

Should they be allowed to work in an environment where there are females or vulnerable people employed? Probably not IMO but that's for the employer to make a call on.

Is professional football (or any professional sport for that matter) a special case? Yes, clubs have young and impressionable supporters that they have to consider in the decision; this sends out a very poor message.

Should Sturgeon keep her nose out of football? 100% yes.
Would that include personal experiences of men who have been falsely accused of rape?

I'm sure some of those who falsely accused salmond still work for the SNP.........cuts both ways.

The whole thing is awful but but but but......sturgeon is not judge jury and executioner......although she'd like to be ......she ain't guardian of the countries moral standards.....although she'd like to be........she is in absolutely no position do so.

Same as when she was screaming for no redactions into party gate report, she's the queen of redactions and double standards.

Raith want to employ Goodwillie it's their perogative, fans don't want to go back, sponsors want to withdraw, directors want to resign it's also theirs.

Did she stick her beak in saying Scotland shouldn't compete in Quatar (women's rights, gay rights human rights) if they qualify.....of course not .....did she stick her beak in when the scotlands woman's manager was drunkingly abusing "young women" on her staff......of course not......did she bother when Goodwillie played for Clyde.......not a peep ......opportunity knocks and Raith is her easy target.

Last thing I'm saying on this cause I know it's an inflammatory topic but

I keep hearing in the media how Goodwillie has got off "Scot free"......I'd completely disagree with that......I'm surprised he's not stuck his head in an oven to be honest.......if he's ever convicted in a criminal court then due process will be done.......if he ever got a not guilty in a criminal court .....would that be the end of it.......I think not.......could he ever get a fair trial now?.....I'd say probably not.

Is Goodwillie innocent or guilty.......I've absolutely no idea, that was for a jury to decide.

Not got any sympathy for Goodwillie but the only reason Sturgeon is poking her nose in is cos Val McDiarmid is a big separatist. Backing up her sheep

I wonder if anything would have been said if Raiths main sponsor wasn’t a lesbian and it coming around the same time Greenwood is all over the papers

Following on from Nicola and the Goodwillie saga, we now have the CEO of the Scottish women's football association saying that
Raith Rovers signing Goodwillie could have " devastating consequences " for the women's game in Scotland, unbelievable !
Goodwillie 5 years at Clyde , and we never heard a cheep
The profile of women's football has soared over the past 5 years, largely due to the women's World Cup being telivised
Good Willie playing for Clyde did not make an impact on the women's game.
On the other hand maybe it did in Scotland, and that was the reason for the dreadful performances from the Scottish Women's team !

If he signed for the majority of clubs in scotland not much would have been said about it.

Just establishment blackmail, Goodwillie is now unemployed, does he get compensation for his contract being broken ?

Women's football shud have the profile of Sunday boys under 15s.......that's the level in this country.......but no they insist it should be given preferential treatment.......Scotland team is now the Scottish men's team, most capped Scot isn't king Kenny or Denis law it's someone from somewhere who used to rattle goals in against various 4 foot 10inch 20 stone goalies who don't like getting the ball in the pus and whose diving skills tony Watt would laugh at.

We now have in this country whatever Nicola and her pals want they get.....a woman who sincerely believes woman are superior to men.

What terrifies me is woman now know they just have to accuse to ruin a life......guilty or not it dosent matter.

When I was in and out of folks houses in Dundee I had doubts about the way a few men spoke to and treated their wives/partners.....but I swear the amount of woman who belittled and spoke to their men as if they were something they had stood on in the pavement was just as bad and opened my eyes.

David Goodwillie is convicted in a criminal court due process would be served, he's not been but the mob will have their way.......
