I vaguely remember going to a title fight of his in Liverpool , hundreds went from tarn , I think the fight was stopped because of cuts to Shaun eyes, he never seemed to get the breaks he deserved , some momentus battles followed after against a lad called Pownall/ Powney ? ( from Doncaster ) proper feyting altho in the end it turned out to be a fruitless cause , I do still enjoy watching boxing and a old acquaintance Josh Wale keeps me in touch with all the local news, God Bless him Shaun a regular at Holy Rood Church ♥

Pub Landlord - it came in handy for Fred that he’d been a boxer when he were in Thurnscoe / Goldfhorpe during 70s and 80s.
