We have had plenty players and quite a few managers in the last few years and yet, whatever went wrong then seems to still be going wrong now.

We must be the most unluckiest club in Scotland to have changed numerous squads and a few managers yet still seem to be watching the same tactics, game plan (whatever it is called nowadays)

There seems to be an acceptance within the club that we have a long term game-plan and all will turn out good in the end. Rubbish. We have been treading water for too many years now and if it wasn't for the heads we are standing on in the deep end we will drown along with them.
Not sure what you're getting at, but my point is fairly clear. Any off field issues should be totally irrelevant once the players take the park. It's down to theirs and the managers ability to turn in a performance. Either the players simply aren't good enough or the manager is tactically inept, or both. I will obviously concede that our failure to address the deficiencies in our playing squad are a factor too, but outside of that I'm not sure how anything else affects the product on the park. I'd rather we lumped the ball up the park at every opportunity and got bodies in and around the box than watch the ball move gracefully from side to side in nice neat backwards triangles.

    V County 15 shots 5 on target.
(1 a penalty and the other a last minute header).

    V Celtic 7 shots 0 on target.
(Played for 15 mins against 10 men).

    V Dundee 11 shots 0 on target.
(Could not hit the target from even 6 yards).

    V Saints 14 shots 3 on target.
(Played 40 mins against 10 men).

That's 47 shots with only 8 on target.

Not rocket science - try to shoot more

There are many different ways to look at this - yes, we are 3 points off 4th, but also only 4 points off 10th. You could also point out that we are currently 6th (not bad, probably would have taken at the start of the season) but we are on 30 points and the three teams below us are all on 29, and two of them have a game in hand.

4th place is there for the taking if we can start getting goals, once Courts works out how to use everyone.

Once Courts works out how to use everyone - emmm - natives are restless on that issue.

Fair dooz ADS , but... Apathy starting at the top will always cascade downwards.

If a manager feels he can get away with certain things , anything really, because his superiors are going through the motions(for whatever reasons) he won't feel under too much threat. That might yet again be transferred to his players thinking that he might not have a clue, his bosses don't have a clue, they have nout to worry about.

I don't have the answer, but there is something a lot more wronger ( cue TTT ) than just the players and manager/s

What about getting fk Harkes Pawlett, and Macnulty as far away from the ground we are playing as humanly possible, for half dozen games just see how we get on, we have no fk idea where the next point is coming from anyway ..how fk is Harkes an auto starter , when was last time he even made an assist , that would be an improvement, you can't play that sh1t week in week out and start every game, chap on managers door its Tony you can pick the team but Harkes has to play, your a good lad Tam you do as your told.

Maybe we are just cursed. I do get what you're saying and it does feel like we are in a state of malaise. Tony Watt has gone from the leagues top scorer to a ****ing goal drought just by pulling on the Tangerine. McNulty is a complete waste of a wage that could have provided us with some pace and width or a creative spark in midfield. Transfer budget blown on a kid from Arsenal that got hooked at half time and a once good player who may never be fit enough to play at this level again and hasn't had a minute on the park yet. A totally ****ing pathetic transfer window will define our season I'm afraid.

Tony Watts goal drought is only going to continue if he keeps playing on the halfway line. He needs to get further up the park and into positions where he's more effective. Hes almost playing as a creative midfielder.

FWIW I thought the Arsenal kid was decent and was a bit baffled by the sub. He was really growing into the game. Pushing Butcher into midfield did absolutely nothing apart from weaken our ability to play out of defence.

Another sh!te toothless display. The sooner we can get some of these imposters that wear tangerine out of Tannadice the better.

Exactly like i thought it was going to go post transfer window. An absolute disgrace that we never brought in some ****ing pace and creativity to this team.

Think we have the base of a decent team but we are 3-4 good attacking players short and the clubs negligence to rectify this may just see us Relegated. Can't win games if you don't score goals and unfortunately i can't see where our next goal is coming from
