Yes at the time I did. I would bring one in for next game. I'm sure I'm not alone with that way of thinking.
So if you were playing both from the start for next three games which two are you dropping for the those game? And are you charging formation to suit that pair?
I expect that's where the fun and satisfaction comes in to play for them. They could however temporarily put their 'project' on hold whilst they do whatever is necessary to get us out of this division. As we've seen with Notts in the past, patience among the support won't last forever, you can't go season after season making no serious challenge for top spot at this level and falling over in the play offs without the pressure building with each failed attempt.
What do they need to do differently? Wrexham paid 500k last week for a player, got an experienced lower league manager, don’t play expansive and are sat just above us. I don’t believe there’s a right or wrong way to get out of this division it’s just about getting it right. Whilst there’s only one spot and money flying around it’s going to be a tough ask for anyone to get out of this league.
Wrexham have had to start from scratch with the disadvantage of the fixed transfer window. They've always been at a disadvantage compared to us, Chesterfield, Stockport and the rest as we all had a stronger platform to build on and managers already in place. Having said that Stockport made a change and Chesterfield have had one forced on them.
Probably unless they've done this with another club before that I'm unaware of.
Agree with Iremongersrighthand thoughts.
It’s not an experiment though is it as lots of clubs use it.
The method we had under Trew/Hardy was to sign lots of players, sack the manager sign lots more players of a different style.....it got us relegated twice.
The honeymoon seems to be over for our owners can sense people getting frustrated with them makes me wonder why anyone bothers buying clubs I mean they saved the club without them we’d have nothing or be AFC Notts County which in reality means we don’t exist.
