Not condoning what the lad did but the lad who Smudge stopped seemed to have a push in the face from the accy player trying to get round smudge to get to him. Could be he could bring charges against the Accy player.

The respect for anything/anyone and allowing louts to spawn ceased when corporal punishment ceased in schools.

Never did me any harm and smartened me up when I was caned or slippered (one each incident) in school. Put it this way I didn’t do it again and it made me realise my actions were out of order. Bring it back I say and National Service while we’re at it. That’ll stop them in their tracks and make proper men of them.

I don't like the way that the Yorkshire Post keeps publicising the actions of an handful of juvenile idiots at this club while other clubs get little coverage. For example Barnsley fans viciously assaulting stewards got very little said about it.

The thing is the stuff we have done is in the ground with full view of the cameras. Scrapping outside is not as easy to record..

Better idea let the people responsible pay for it or if there under 18 let the family pay for it

Could do a monthly direct transfer debit.

Football hooliganism has never totally gone away it took summat like heysel before folks began to realise how stupid it is. I think you can mingle with opposition fans better now but there is always an element of someone looking for trouble. It does still bring out the dregs of society who prib don't even go for the football. It's easy to stereotype a footy hooligan as a youngish yob who cant hold his beer but in my experience there are plenty of older men who ought to know better and are spoiling for a fight and don't know when to button it.

What a crazy statement to come out with. Where is your proof on it being s.exual ? As for child abuse, get the little feckers in line.

If it existed then its probably the same now.

Only difference is that kids are brainwashed more now.
