    Don't know much about him, but they were very happy with him at Brighton it seems. Quite exciting!

    Also a good thing we didn't get Overmars after all, he's just been sacked at Ajax after sending dirty messages to female colleagues.

    Before Brighton he was at West Brom and the club fell to pieces in terms of recruitment when he left! He was that good!!

    Best appointment you could make as the guy is a sharp and shrewd cookie!

    I think he's the biggest appointment the club have made.

    More important than Eddie and more than Bruno or Trippier.

    He is the full real deal - absolutely delighted if we get him, not counting any chickens till he's confirmed.

    He'll change the entire fabric of the club, he's a serious serious football player in the upper echelons.
