As the match lasts for ninety minutes there is totally loads of time so there is no need to rush this bit. Once a bit of exasperated booing starts, we may then see a pass into Pawlett, Clark or McNulty who will then look up to see a defender not unreasonably coming toward them so to be better to be on the safe side, a simple pass back to Butcher will suffice to allow more ‘patient’ possession between the four defenders for another ten minutes.

This will then proceed for the bulk of the game, during which we may score a goal or we may concede a goal but more likely neither.

Would love it to be 5-0 but c’mon we all know what’ll be like. 0-0 every day of the week.
I think you are a tad optimistic with the ball retention 3 passes at back then hoof the ball up to the opposition.

If (and its a big if) we can find the net, we have a great chance of winning this one. Motherwell are on a worse run that us right now.

    2 points from a possible 15.
0 wins in their last 5 games (6 if you include 90mins of the cup vs Morton)
1 goal scored in those 6 games.
Beaten 3-1 by 10-man County (1-1 when County had a man sent off).
1 win at Tannadice in the last 9 years.
No Tony Watt to drag them out the sh!t.

This one's there for the taking. We need to turn up with the same 2nd half performance we produced vs St. Mirren & County at home but this time produce it from the first whistle. C'mon Utd!

That's a fair point but not 100% correct,pre-season it was not a case of not getting a season ticket i already had one.I was asking for my money back because Tony lied to me when he said,"We have a list of exciting candidates,"then appointed Tam.During the whole of the pandemic from early 2020 onwards i have backed United financially to the hilt and actively encouraged all my family and fellow supporters to buy season tickets regardless of whether we were allowed in or not.

That's how i remember it anyway but you are entitled to your opinion Terence.

    Not just us, it's everywhere.

That's twice now watching a TV game I've seen a team with a free kick just inside the oppo half with a congested 18-yard line anticipating. Two touches & the goalie had the ball, not the defending one, the goalie from the team that had the free kick! One square ball across the half way line then one pass backward. And it wasn't even time wasting, on both occasions the team taking the free kick needed to score.

    Explain that cos I can't.

Too many managers thinking they're smarter than they are and trying to play like Man City unfortunately their players are Man Sh!tty.

It's crazy. Back in the days we used to blame it on Largs with 4231 now it's like Players Recovery Manual 3.0 V.7 as originally written by Pieter Van der fn Plank at Man City Player Analysis Center. See notes 17-30 on variations discovered when compared to the Barcelona Medical and Physical Analysis Programme (2007 version)

that was exactly what I was thinking about Largs. Its not just them but every facet of football nowadays. I don't watch pub Sunday football but do they play like that now too? lol. With the wrong players its fvcking brutal to watch, eye bleeding and unnecessary as they can't play effectively like that game in game out and gives the perfect hiding place for those who don't want it. Despite all this we have a chance of going 4th tonight - wtaf!!??

It's nothing to do with any of that it's just fans looking for something to blame when results aren't coming. We were playing exactly the same way at the start of the season but nothing like this was being said as we were winning.
