You have selectively deducted your 21 points from the total.
I will just point out, we had 1 point from 7 games, BEFORE Cooper arrived. Perhaps you'd like to recalculate that again now if you are going to compare Cooper with Rooney.

I will amend my previous statement though. Mental age of a child was wrong. He does have the emotional attitudes of a child though.
A child is every bit as selfish as he is, to those who should mean the most to him.
Colleen, must be the most patient woman on the planet.
Well I’m glad you approve, but no ‘manipulation’ on my part.
If you read my posts...I’ve acknowledged Cooper’s achievements, he’s done brilliantly to rekindle your aspirations.
Equally Rooney has done just as well, given the circumstances, to even keep alive any hope of our ‘great escape’.

The original point though was that I expected some p*ss taking from you about the content of Rooney’s documentary.
What I didn’t expect was the vitriolic attacks... ‘the mind of a child’, ‘dickhead’, ‘most women would have cut his balls off’, ‘selfish’ ‘emotional attitudes of a child’, ‘time and again humiliated her and the family’ etc, etc.

Wow...some anger there. If I didn’t know better I’d think you were jealous.

    Not jealous in the slightest.
Some role model for marriage/ integrity/ family life/respect/ moral behaviour.
I suppose he gets forgiven that because he's "Wayne Rooney" and he's just being a naughty boy

    Lol...course not...perish the thought...that’s what the meant.

Look...he’s Wayne Rooney, not the brightest (in a non footballing sense)...grew up in a rough area of Liverpool as a bit of a ‘man child’ possibly not surrounded by the greatest of role models. He’s made mistakes, done some dodgy things (and probably worse) but he’s come through it...or seems to have.

I did some dodgy things when I was much younger, many of us did...maybe you didn’t...perhaps you were the perfect citizen although I actually find that quite hard to believe.

I don’t know exactly what’s in the documentary...only seen the trailer which seems to go into some potentially very uncomfortable areas, but I admire people who can face up to the sort of home truths that seem to be covered.

At Forest you have a stand named after Brian Clough while we have a statue in his memory. There’s a road named after him linking the two cities which both lay claim to him as a local hero. Cloughie was undeniably brighter than Rooney but he didn’t always get it right and look how did his ‘relationship’ with alcohol worked out?

So no one is suggesting that WR was a great role model when he was younger but people can change. Cloughie actually seemed to get worse with time. Maybe Rooney is over his bad times...time will tell. For me it’s a case of credit where it’s due. You continue to sit in judgement if you like. Nowt more to add.

I think many, maybe all, of us on here are thankful that camera phones weren't invented when we were doing some of our wilder stuff in our younger days. I know I am.

So...so true, Amster. No mobile phones so people couldn’t even contact us let alone film us. How times have changed!

But then again have times improved - our misdemeanours are now being recorded by big brother. Cue grumpy old man time: I miss the poor getting rickets and diphtheria.

Take your point...but in a weird way ‘big brother’ is less malicious (if more sinister) than certain ‘friends’, neighbours and colleagues.

Can't resist seeing Thickys post quoted by you - this **** talks about role models when he spouts xenophobic racist bile and has a knee jerk response of threatening physical violence when you have a go at him? What a jerk!!

Or worse says his imaginary Canadian GF will do you!!

Was discussion on Radio Derby yesterday over whether Rooney will remain manager next season, in an interview when asked he said he "needs a squad", which i interpret as "I'm not doing this again, give me the tools or I'm off".
We could start (if we have a club) next season with no manager or 1st team, and -15 points. Can't wait!
