    Another match without scoring. Can;t fault the effort. But no quality in midfield or upfront.

    Nothing wrong with the approach play but as soon as we get into the opposition penalty area, that's it. Carroll wins enough in the air but there's never anybody from the midfield area running onto the ball. We all knew that it was an attacking midfielder that was required in the window but did we get one, no! At least we played football.

    Best post of the thread and so accurate! Pointless blaming Carrol when the problem always is the f uckin shambles of a midfield!!!
