Never owned a dog, the commitment in time and money involved puts me off until I can retire as I've always liked them. Every time I see folk walking their dogs early doors, none of them look happy.

Rottweillers got a really bad press in the 80's but as has been said it's the owners - plenty of vids on YT showing impeccable behaviour. Many moons ago after playing 5-a-side a few of us went for a drink and the pub dog (at Rottie) who I'd not seen before, trotted several yards past a load of punters straight for me, turned around and sat at my feet. Had me bricking it I can tell ya but her turned out to be a big softie.
