Lets not forget about people like Corbyn or Farage either, both paid by Russia Today and paid from who knows by who else in Russia. Both have defended past indefensible Russian actions.

Farage in particular has had a big influence on the direction of recent politics in this country.

Yes, Putin is actin and sounding just like Hitler before WW2 and although he has ‘only’ invaded Ukraine (so far), the possibilities for escalation to a much wider conflict are very real indeed. This has all the hallmarks of the preliminaries to a World War. Will the Chinese take advantage and go for Taiwan, nobody would be surprised at that.

All Russian business interest in this country should be frozen, Russian flights should be banned and all sporting ties should be cut. FIFA should expel Russia from the World Cup, if they are still in it and no Russian sportsperson should be allowed in any international tournament; the Russian people need to realise the contempt that the World holds for their country.

Correct! Those are exactly my sentiments.

The guy is little more than a gangster, but like Xi Jinping and Kim jong un he is also exceptionally dangerous because he is narcissistic, likely psychopathic and, well, a bit mad. Bizarrely, had the similarly inclined Trump still been President rather than the dithering Biden perhaps Putin may not have risked invasion.

Sadly bullies generally only respond to direct physical threats and whilst severe sanctions will undoubtedly hurt both Putin and Russia it will take time for the effects of these to bite and time is something the Ukraine doesn't have. Certainly very worrying times and feel for all those Ukrainians caught up in this.
Yes I think it's because Biden and not Trump is president that he has invaded. Keep your eyes on China and Taiwan now. All

I don’t think it would be any different if Trump was in charge, he had no interest in foreign affairs and having “boots on the ground” in distant lands.

Isn’t it just incredibly sad that there are still leaders like Pukin who think war is acceptable, starting one I mean!?

Apparently the Polish are furious at today’s events, they want to know why they haven’t been invaded first as usual!

The Italians have already surrendered just in case.

Basically we have to entirely shut Russia down from any contact with the west.

A total lightweight, a nonentity of a man.
Really misread Putin there mate, apart from maybe he’s not as tall as he would like, he’s bloody shrewd, totally ruthless, and ****ing loaded in all senses of the word

It's interesting that in my previous post I stated that the pressure against him should come from within. When interviewed on TV the Russian public stated that they didn't want this conflict and that this was not Russia who wanted this but the Kremlin.
