    Putin has just promised Macron that 'the worst is yet to come'.

    Normally whatever that man says I believe the opposite, and I usually end up being right, but somehow I actually do believe him on this one.

    That was Macron’s prognosis after talking to Putin, but it’s hard not to think it’s true. Putin will basically wipe Ukraine off the map like he did to Grozny and Aleppo, and we can’t do anything to prevent it short of starting WWIII. I was looking at pics on the Associated Press portal earlier - the ones no paper would print due to the horrific scenes - and it’s a senseless slaughter of civilians without any pretense at targeting military sites.
