He must be wishing he stayed put
To be honest, Watt offers much more than goals (and any forward we have). He is constantly chasing things down, noising up the opposition, in the refs face, but he is also a very good player, who has strength, can hold the ball up, can beat a player, and take a goal. A great signing, wish we could fecking clone him!!

Very true and definitely a good signing, but his goals have definitely dried up playing in our team and he can't be happy about it

We cannot afford to carry players like that, and have several (Harkes, McNulty, etc.,) who regularly get a game but contribute feck all 90% of the time!!
Oh i agree. It was a reply to Dreamsof83 saying Clark will end up in our top 20 goalscorers or whatever. He takes the penalties and freekicks sometimes. He also isn't played out of position, he plays behind a striker because he is absolutely bullied up front and has no pace. We were told he was played out of position when he played several games up front this season, he obviously doesn't see himself as a striker anymore and i don't blame him but an attacking midfielder he is not, which he and our last two managers both think he is.

I've been thinking this too - that confidence is an issue. But then I remember that McNulty Scored at Rugby Park very early on so that should have set him up for a really good game, go and score more, maybe even get a hatrick (can you imagine)

Not even close though. Did very little after his goal in the 4th minute.

Then at Pittodrie, again he scored very early on. Ok, it's a penalty but however you look at it, he's on the scoresheet with almost an entire game ahead of him, at the scene of his best performance last season.* Confidence should be sky high, driving him on to get more goals and get us a win.

*I realise that doesn't say a lot though
