Anyways I see once again we're back to the debate:
those who defend Tam and the team based on our current points and position, against those who are unhappy with what McNulty and Clark do in the final 3rd.
I think its unfair on the former to accuse the latter of being negative, we all post on a Utd mad forum ffs, we are all Utd fans who invest a lot of time and/or money.
For me strikers go through bad spells yes, but its twice in McNulty's case, he doesnt do nearly enough to warrant being picked, he's a waste of a shirt. Clark is similar but at least offers something as an impact player.
From 6th Nov they've scored 1 league goal between then in open play. In that time in the league, we've drawn 6 games and lost by 1 goal on 6 occasions.
We are 1 point off 4th but 4 off 10th. Its easy to see the ifs, buts and maybees, however taking something from 1 or 2 of those 12 games would have been massive.

It boils down to who's to blame:
Tam for continuing to pick players who dont contribute enough or Tony for not providing options so that Tam can rotate.

I'm of the opinion that our defensive recruitment and coaching has been great, but our attacking recruitment choices and coaching are responsible for potentially blowing the chance of getting a European place and the funds that go with it.
That is why some are vocal.
Blowing our chance of a European place? 8 months ago on here nearly every poster was saying we'd get relegated with the cheap manager option. Yet now with a few games to go we're mentioning Europe! That says to me that Tam has exceeded expectations (which were zero). No quite sure what some fans are expecting. Relegation was the talk but that doesn't look likely.
