Were you yourself not one of the more negative ones prior to the season start? Please forgive me if I have that wrong however.
I was concerned at the appointment of Tam, absolutely. Wasn't as vocal about it as some were, but concerned at his lack of experience nonetheless. That & the fact Charlie Mulgrew was the only signing we'd made before the season started, certainly gave justified cause for concern imo.

In all honesty mate I don't want to see him fired either. I was just a bit pissed off at half time yesterday and let loose. We turned it round in the second half so credit where its due but I am still pretty fed up at how many points we have as opposed to how many we could have if we had addressed the issues in January. I've no idea why McNulty is still here and surely to **** we could have used his wage to bring in someone who knows where the net is. A couple of posters lept on my rant as an excuse to get stuck in (not unusual for me) Shedka is entitled to his opinion but needs to ease up on the insults towards concerned United fans though.

The fact you were concerned before a ball was kicked means you should at least understand that there are some of us who are now concerned about our current form. Whichever way you spin it we have won only 2 of our last 16 games which is a massive drop off from early season form,we still cannot kill teams off and our strikers have been rank rotten.

Yes but its not fair to go back so far, it appears its last 5 only on here. You were allowed to go further back not long ago when we had no wins in 5 but that rule has recently changed when we finally won a game.We were also absolutely stinking v the bottom two teams(one had 10 men for most of one half)away but that was spun as two v i t a l away points albeit we failed to score against two defences who have shipped a barrowload.

It was important we didn't lose any of those games, I think that was the main point being made.

Tbf it was a really poor Hearts crowd. The Shed was about half full and The Jim McLean stand less than that. Be lucky if there was 2000 there. Was a decent Utd crowd.

I was concerned over Christmas as well. Those concerns have eased massively now, and in hindsight, the injuries look like they played a far bigger part than I thought at the time. Tam's big test, and I said this from day one, was coming through his first sticky spell as Utd manager and he's done it imo. Granted the performances haven't been as good as we'd like, but to go from 8 defeats in 10 to now only 2 defeats in 11 is a major upturn. Our recent form has us 6th in the form table. Unfortunately some fans don't seem to be able to get passed the poor form at Christmas (some don't seem to be able to get passed the fact he was appointed in the first place) and have it in for the manager regardless. He seems to always be only one defeat or poor performance away from having it all thrown back in his face. Most folk had us down or in the playoffs at the start of the season. Early March and we're already safe with 36 points. Let's see where we end up. We're still in with a chance of top 6 and have a quarter final to look forward to, albeit its the worst tie we could've possibly drawn.

I was one of the more optimistic ones when he was appointed but of course I remember the general theme at the time. It's interesting that you're happy to use the 2 defeats in 11 stat but not the 2 wins in 16 though. I don't really call that a major upturn if I'm being honest, and performances have been very poor when playing the teams you'd expect us to have more chance of beating. We turned up v the Hun and second half yesterday but were ****ing abysmal against the bottom 2 teams and again against Livi. Throw in the St Mirren game too and we were damn lucky to beat County. I genuinely don't think Tam is going to take us to the next level but I absolutely hope to be wrong.

Both teams beat Hearts right after we played them, to compare current form and using the losing run from pre new year in it to add to it is/was not fair at all, there is big a difference since we returned in January after the injuries and covid cleared up and no more tools away Fuchs in the line up

No one if saying its been great form but its been steady, especially at the back for the most part, we've almost emerged with a new defence from earlier in the season with Graham doing well, Butch at CB, McMann being out at times, Freeman being out at times etc, think we have adapted fairly well, even recently with setbacks losing Levitt at Pittodrie was a blow for the rest of the game and at livi, losing watt at livi was a blow in that game and for yesterday, Mulgrew being out too
