I've not been on much as been busy at work and been busy since i got back last week, so cant comment on posters being missing
what i can say though is we've been sh1te majority of the season and alot of boys are scunnered, thats the reason crowds are falling. true story 5 of us, all season ticket holders, were walking to the game on saturday a few mins later than usual, we got to the busses at gussie and hearts scored and we all turned round and headed back to the snug, yes we missed a decent 2nd half but none of us fancied sitting there 1-0 down after 1 min, reason we all went back to snug was we're all totally f ucking scunnered with the sh1te thats on display on a weekly basis. yes we will continue to buy our season tickets and support the club financially but yer man Asghar sat there and said he wasn't happy with Mellons style of play and this season has been no f ucking different. its f ucking awful
this has to be one of the worst leagues in history, nothing between 4th and 3rd bottom, all equally as sh1te as each other its frustrating as ****
Agree with OA in that its hard to bear when your team; goes down so early in the match! But if i have paid to watch, then i'll watch the whole match, win lose or draw. Its great that people like OA still find it in themselves to fork out every season and be continually subject to what has been some poor football; irrespective of result and for a number of years and as much as i lauded McKinnon etc. the football was eye bleeding and still is. I dont doubt their credentials as coaches at whatever level, but if you analyse too much you'll disappear up your own a***hole! Football is a simple game!
As much as McLeans, methods would not wash in today's game, it seems to me he made every player play as if it was their last game and if their lives depended on it! Some players dont seem to give a damn and therefore why should the support; whom are the real foundations of the club and will outlast any player; but that foundation must be built upon to be sustainable, the fare on offer is diminishing that rapidly. Players as well as management need to take responsibility (not just words) and up their game; albeit there is so only so much trg and advice that can be given.
Anyway i like Freeman and for me in the RB position, he has the box seat
A lot of short memories if you are all scunnered just now, this Asghar stuff has clouded people against Tam and the team, for me this is a very decent season, i see progression overall from last term and continued upward trajectory, maybe not on a steep upward curve but the league this year is stronger, I've no doubt the quality is better, the stakes are raised with crowds back
Last year was the worst season ever to follow by a mile, that was soul destroying, been class being back to normal (Christmas apart), seeing Utd again, being very competitive, strong in Glasgow, not nice the losing run we had but we've came through it
We will have future better times as we continue to keep stability and build foundation, especially with Graham abs the like becoming a fixture, patience and perspective is all that's need to enjoy it more
We are doing OK, with room for improvement, in attack of course mainly
I'm not too fussed which one plays, both are decent players and have different strengths. Smith has a bit more defensive positional experience, and is slightly better in the air. Freeman gives 100% even if he isn't playing well, and is very attack minded, loves to get up the park asap and fire a decent ball in to the box, not scared of a wee tackle either. Maybe depends on the opposition on the day who we use (if both fit)
PS: I don't want to get involved in argumentative posts, but.......... I would like to put in an official complaint about ADS using the term "my bad"This has become quite popular these day and is a terrible choice of words, nearly up there with "chillax" and granddads wearing hoodies and listening to rap music....
(hope these emojis work ADS...
