He shook his head when he was taken off and never played again same as Klitch but he got lucky with no midfield and injuries.

No, I meant that had he been retained (imho he should have been), his playing time might have had to be limited given age/fitness level.

I suspect losing Alioski, Berra and Pablo together meant a significant element of the leadership group was lost.

Berra and Pablo are by all accounts model pros and Alioski is fun and trains hard. All three are experienced enough to realise that there are bumps along the road. All three knew the club, the fans and what English football is all about.

Hard to replace.

Dog fight between the bottom 5 now and possibly Brentford if their upturn in form is temporary.

Stating the blindingly obvious but we have the opportunity to pick up points over the next few weeks to not only pull away but put pressure on the bottom 3 - whilst we keep losing we give them hope of catching us.

Think our season may have been a lot different with Alioski.

We miss Alioski massively, the club made a big error not keeping hold of him when we had no other left back.
