Understand those comments. A lot of the time both our fullbacks are involved further forward, Francis allows this to happen.

Interesting comments and yes Delroy regularly speaks a lot of sense IMO, or mirrors my thoughts. Maybe the same thing, not sure?!

If you want those fullbacks/wingbacks further advanced then I want the added protection in central midfield that Francis offers compared to Vinny/Brunt. Anything to prevent being overrun in midfield which we've seen many many times since being in NL away from home.

Does anyone think Brunt is worthy of starting for Notts under any circumstance?

He’s not awful, he hasn’t performed yet. I thought he was marginally better last night.

I disagree. He had the opportunity last night and he didn't take it
Slow on and off the ball, takes up poor positions, poor distribution and offered absolutely no help for Francis and Vincent
    defensively
He may come good but from what i've seen so far i doubt it

Yes but i wasn't one of them, i also think Mitchell could still do a job up front
However im going off what i've seen of Brunt so far and he doesn't even offer a glimpse of quality

There’s a difference between being awful and currently not performing. Technically, he’s got all the attributes. But, he’s not demonstrated that in a match yet. Frustrating yes.

As many have alluded to, look at Sam. Prior to his up turn in form, many would have driven him back to Belgium. Now, like last night, it’s a big blow when he’s not available.

He's a player on loan till the end of the season so time isn't on his side. I'm sorry but i've not seen any attributes he offers that we haven't already got in abundance. As a fringe player on loan you need to grab the opportunity when it comes
It was his opportunity to shine and show us what he's all about last night with a weakened midfield but he was lost for 70 minutes of the game. I think he's started 3 games for Notts and also made several sub appearances without effecting or imposing himself on the game. Not what you want or expect from such a highly rated loan player
