Agree with this. The lack of clean sheets is a big issue.

Notts78 suggesting Rùben doesn't work hard and defend from the front is crazy talk. He defensive work is more than good enough, I don't know what he's been watching.

I can guarantee I have seen with my own eyes Rubens defensive efforts. I never suggested he doesn’t work hard. In fact I never mentioned any player not working hard. The problem I have with the 4 players I mentioned is that they are chasing players back far too often, meaning the player they are chasing is more often than not already goal side.

I totally agree with you Notts 68. There are always those who have some derisive comments even if they dont attend any games..

There are also those who no matter how many games they've attended still really struggle to post anything positive....ever.

Preferring instead to find the negative slant in every perfomance or failing that they choose to stay silent and wait for the next game where Notts fail to win before reverting back to type.

I don't agree, we have on the whole this season defended well, we have created lots of chances and should have scored a lot more goals.

Our Achilles heel is and has been for a while crosses into the box, which when you play with wingbacks ( even with 4 at the back ) is always going to be the problem, we get caught out too frequently with mismatches where you have a Tree beating Brindley for a header at the back post. The solution would be a tall strong Ellis type Centre-half who can play the ball.

Cameron is to some extent like this and as such our results are much better with him in the side. but if we could sign another player of a similar Ilk to Cameron, tall strong in the air, and decent with the ball at his feet, i think it would be the final part in the jigsaw, and be the big difference between us being 1st or 2nd, or 5th-7th at the end of the season.

It would be a dream to have two Kyle Cameron's whether playing a back 3, 4 or 5. We did well to recruit one tbh.
