    Carlos Corberan

If he doesn't get Huddersfield promoted, offer him a 4 year deal and whatever money he wants.

He's done an incredible job. Huddersfield are everything we aren't this season.

I don’t mind that we picked out a performing upcoming manager and gave him a 4 year deal.

I do mind that he pretty much wrecked us but I wouldn’t let that put us off that type of approach.

It’s not just that Matt - they have great recruitment! I know the Lees family - Tom was picked up for peanuts and better than anything we have! His brother is decent too - Toby who plays for Blythe but was at Harrogate. They must have been laughing all the way to the bank when we paid 18 million for Grant!

TGH was better than Livermore and Grant again and what did he cost? Sadly unlike TGH - Cleary and Tolluch won’t be given a fair chance and move on where they will get an opportunity even if loaned out! I would definitely start Button against Fulham too!

I am with you on this one Al.

No Manager or coach has a chance with our recruitment team. We pay fees that are too big, wages that are too big, contracts that are too long, and buy players that ain’t good enough. Takes some doing that.

The problem is we have been a recruitment disaster since Ashworth left and if you had Klopp as boss and Pep as his assistant we would still be where we are given the support the Manger gets.

Yes we do need to give our younger players more of a shout but that said not many of them, Wood, maybe Roofe, haven’t exactly set the world on fire when they left us. I suspect Cleary and Tulloch will also fit into that category. That said I would still like to see them get their chance before they do go.

How can we even rebuild Yarm when the likes of Bartley, Livermore, Robinson will still be there next season? Many say it’s the lack of goals which yes that’s the case but Mowatt and Livermore are too pedestrian and can’t pass a decent ball. When did Robinson last have a decent game as he looks like a fairy on top of a cake?

Surely Johnstone needs to be dropped - his heart does not look into it? Both goals were his fault last night and he’s gone from bad to worse. Surely the tactic now - sign a contract or play in the reserves! We would have nothing too lose as Button should be given another chance anyway!

I feel like crying when I see the recruitment going on at other clubs so well and ours is dire. I used to watch the Lees boys play when they were 16 and you could tell they would make it then and they have!

I have to agree regarding Johnstone. I heaped praise on him last year and deservidly so, but this season there have been far too many under par performances. In all honesty I don't envisage too many Premier League clubs clamouring for his services. I don't see Brce dropping him in favour of Button but another performance like last night could alter his opinion. Personally, I would bring young Griffiths back from Lincoln as I think that he is one for the future.

Currently injured, being assessed for possible ankle ligament damage. I'm not sure whether we could recall him outside of a transfer window anyway.

I should have been more clear '68. I didn't mean now as I know that he is injured and that we can't recall him at this stage anyway. What I should have said was, at the end of the season.
