Well I’m another who will not give these owners another penny of my hard earned as long as they are in our club!
I was offered a free ticket recently for the Hull game, I live 20 minutes from the ground and turned the offer down!
They do not care about our club, the community or give a rats ar4e about the supporters, I’m waiting for the usual s4ite to come out so they can get the ST’s sold……it will be pure comedy this year!

I know its a bit ridiculous Barnsley fans who fork out their hard earned dosh for a season ticket actually turn up at Oakwell to support Barnsley FC, how could they let you down like this? a fan as principled & righteous as yourself, in fact so principled you think Barnsley fans going to watch Barnsley FC is reason enough to shower them in personal abuse.

Again you completely ignore what I have said several times previously about how I would like to see Conway replaced by a Barnsley born owner as it doesn't suit your agenda, but I love BFC more than i dislike Conway, clearly your hatred is off the scale & tbh fans like you are better off staying well away, if you can't differentiate between supporting our young team with some young barnsley lads from the owners thats your problem. Perhaps you can tell us the next owners will be? how are the negotiations going? any updates on that Conway Out whopper? You see Barnsley fans are not as stupid as you think they are, throw your dummy out all you want but it was a farce.

I've absolutely no problem with anyone who continues to support the team inside Oakwell , none what so ever .

My problem with you is the condemnation of Luke Goddard and the Protest Group .

I am a west stand season ticket holder with over 60 seasons under my belt & the way I have been treated by these owners this season has been nothing short of disgusting & I despise them for it but I know I will be renewing my season ticket again , its what I do , I watch the reds through thick & thin , I was here before this lot rolled in & hopefully will be still here when they are long gone , my support is unconditional , now I know my views will swim against the tide with most of fellow contributors on this forum but I am not going to change , I love going to Oakwell to watch my team . I expect I will take some stick for my comments but at my time of life the skin is pretty thick lol .

What is not acceptable is the mocking and belittling of passionate fans like Luke Goddard by a sizeable group on BBS for having his views. They try to portray themselves as better fans following the "let's talk to Paul" line and everything will be fine. "Paul" can't find the time to talk so it's back to Ahmad again on Friday to bat away questions and promote ST's, "You promised months ago to get back to us about the £750,000 taken from the club accounts Khaled. Any progress ?" "i'm working on it". "Thanks Khaled. Next question is about Flatbreads".

Same here , 65 yrs # not a penny more , I don't give a Tom Tit if some go or not ,that's their choice , are you a member of the Supporters Trust Ponty End ? and why do you ridicule the Conway Out Group so much ? Is it really a better atmosphere ?

I agree with what you say SB , I read all forums, Facebook & Twitter etc regarding anything reds & there is a big cross section of opinions & with out a doubt these owners are about as popular as something you have trod in & personally I hope Luke Goddard proves to be right & hopefully new owners are found . The way I see it regarding buying my ticket is that hopefully my money is going towards the players wages , the ground staffs wages, Beth in the office & her colleagues wages because simply if there was no money coming into the club then we would fold & the team I have watched all these years & want to continue to watch would no longer exist , I do not see that I am lining any suits pockets , I just want to watch my team , I do not criticise anyone with an opposite view & I do not see why I should be criticised for having my view .

I don’t think Ponty is ridiculing the Conway Out group ‘so much’.
I think he’s saying it hasn’t worked.

Two ways of looking at that.

The approach by that group could at best be called amateurish.
I watched part of the long drawn out PowerPoint presentation online - and IMO that’s not what was needed.
Plus the follow on ‘Conway Out’ placards and protest were a flop.
There was also the promise of a new ownership group being announced that has not materialised.

However - Luke Goddard has his heart in the right place.
And people are voting with their feet and staying away.
So although the Conway Out group launch was a flop - it could be argued it’s been a success.

As said previously - I’m not committed to that group - I’d rather see the strategy of the owners tweaked rather than them leave the club.
But there definitely needs to be changes.

I hope your money does go in that direction Shads as it is fans putting the finance in, either directly through ST's/ match tickets/merchandise (£4mill) or indirectly via Sky money to provide TV income (£7mill) or buying sponsors goods/services (£3mill).
Conway (arseoyle) and the other owners have not put a penny in and leave all the financial risk to others. They have gone further in taking £750,000 out of the clubs accounts--your money--in order to pay an instalment to buy the club. As I said I hope fans money is used for proper purposes. We know Conway (arseoyle) will not be putting anything in--think of that when the renewal letters arrive requesting your money.
