I do Wordle on my phone not Mrs BDB’s I Pad.. Safari was set to a black background for some reason & I only put a few in to try it.. have reset background colour & copied exact guesses from phone & is this better?

Today's Wordle is another example of the frustration that prompted this thread to be started.

Once again the solution is a word that does not exist in the English language.

If the Americans don't like our language they should create their own and stop claiming they speak English.

In that case, can you please create and send Griff an Excel spreadsheet that automatically calculates the Predictocomp points each week if he simply enters the fixtures and scores.

If the spreadsheet could also provide an updated table each week and keep track of the postponed games that would be even better.

Apart from the time this would save Griff it would also save him a fortune on pencils and fag packets.

You’re right of course Howoldboy. I never got to prepare spreadsheets because, frankly, I had folk to do that for me. “Do it” I said, and it was done. So now I sit with my pencil, sharpener, rubber, abacus, fag packet, second fag packet (just in case), spare pencil (see second fag packet), ruler and a very large glass of red* to do the table.

By the way, four today. Bloody Americans.
