Mandaric made the tough decision. There were no sacred cows ( or pigs) for him. Promotion meant everything.

Does TS have the bottle to do this at RUFC?

Replace Warne with Warnock?

Failing that maybe Richard Wood as manager could get us over the line?
I think, IBS, you are correct that we should change the manager.
But.. i want someone who knows this division so i have drawn up a shortlist. Which will you pick ?

1. Ian Evatt - as we know he has put together, all be it self confessed, the best team in the league. They play the game properly, none of that hoofball rubbish. Sadlier is happier being a sub under Evatt than he is being a sub under Warne so must be a great man manager and good judge of a player. Best of all, while the Millers fret over whether we’ll blow our lead, Evatt has left his fans with no mathematical doubt whether his team will win the league.
2. The Cowley brothers- one of the hottest properties in football management. At lincoln they achieved the remarkable feat of getting promotion whilst also getting to the latter stages of a cup. They also have experience of avoiding relegation in the championship having only Huddersfields parachute payments to aid them. Now they are at a huge club thats more attractive to many an ex miller than our club is and have guided them to above halfway.
3. Darren Moore - harshly sacked by WBA when fourth in the Championship and ended up at Donny while fat Frank finished two places below him that season and got the Chelsea job. Surely evidence that Darren Moore should also be a top premiership manager. After learning the local football scene at Donny he has stepped up to the most massive and is in with a good shout of scraping a play off place. If so that’ll be two teams he has guided to the play offs in a few years, even if both were expected to get automatic promotion. Best of all he’s called Moore.

If we can’t think of anyone who has a consistent record of getting out of this league and leave them to it, then one of the above would be just what we need...
