    BR post match

A bloody marvellous game - well done and good luck to BR - a very good side that lacks a Number 9

    Armer 7
    Simeu 9 (MoM)
    Riley 8
    Dickenson 6.5
    Mellish 8.5
    Feeney 8.5
    Whelan 6.5
    Gibson 8
    Patrick 7.5
    Dennis 8

With the bottom 5 all losing Barrow's chances of remaining in League Two slightly increased. All the relegation-threatened teams are a match nearer the end of the season. Barrow remain 6 points clear of 23rd placed Oldham.

Today Oldham played their 3rd consecutive home match. They have lost all 3. They have another home match on Tuesday against Leyton Orient. Next Saturday it will be Stevenage against Oldham.

Hell of a game at BP which just shows that possession isn’t everything. Worrying that all of our players looked knackered at the end, but so will Rochdale’s ahead of our game on Tuesday having chased the game at Crawley. Incidentally, the Crawley goal was scored by a player on his arse, so maybe playing the game sitting down is the way to go.

Paul Simpson says Rochdale are by far the best footballing team we have played since he arrived.

    What a gentleman.

And to think some of them on the Rochdale Forum called him a cock.

That "assist" by Patrick today has to be the best of the season.

The Carlisle air/ale seems to suit him.
