Morning all. Some better scoring this week helped by a few correct scores for a change. No changes to the table though with the better scores being up in the top half it’s becoming difficult for anyone to close up from the bottom half.

Top scorer was Howoldboy with a nice 12 so a big (sanitised) handshake to him. Getting slaps on the arse are Mullen and Nobby who only got 5s. Don’t worry, Chalky’s not around this week to point and laugh. Remember though, 5 has been around the average score recently so it’s all relative.

Only 6 weeks left and Howoldboy’s lead looks unassailable. Six weeks is a possible 144 points though, so who knows?

Good week for some, poor for others giving an average of 7.1 which ain’t bad. Blackdogblue was top, er, dog this week with a very nice 12. Well, I was top-scorer in his competition so fair’s fair. Well done though. Skulking hyenas were Mullen and Howoldboy who only got 4s. Only single place moves resulted but it all counts towards bragging rights at the end of the season.

It looks like Howoldboy’s well away at the top and we’d have to catch up at least 5 points each week on him which is a big ask. Then there’s only 9 points between the next four players trying to catch up or, more likely, get second place. Then there’s 16 points to the rest of the field who need a bit of momentum to get into the top half.

There’s one of the two remaining postponed games coming up in mid-week so I’ll put the points up shortly after.
