Not sure how he’d do it but I’d like to see Buendia in the side.

    Capisco Bongo

But who ? Kalvin Phillips is being banded around great player but spends half the season out on the treatment table !

Phillips even managed to pick up an injury appearing on “Question of Sport”

Mind you having to listen to Paddy McGuinness attempting to be humorous is agonisingly painful!

Yes the injury recored is an issue but i think i would take a gamble. Bissuma maybe? Kante? Someone ive never heard before? I havent a clue. Must be someone out there.

We should have cloned Gareth Barry while we had a chance.

Well that was so poor it beggars belief 2 of the softest goals imaginable conceded

Watkins squanders chances like they are going out fashion

    McGinn couldn't pass wind today

Wolves weren't too much better ...they didnt need to be as the one thing they had they could rely on Villa turning the ball over 99 times out of 100

We had 9or 10 corners & each was landed straight into their goal keepers hands

Apart from that everything was wonderful

I thought Wolves were good for the most part, we didn't work their keeper much and they moved it well in attack as well as seeming to outnumber us when out of possession.

McGinn had a good game, yes he slipped but you can't really blame him or any of the others for that.

There's so much pressure on Watkins because we are not creating enough chances, apart from that 1 on 1 he had one shot - yes he should have scored and the ball to him from Young was superb, just not our day but we cannot perform for spells & expect to win games.

Set pieces - f'in woeful, we take ages, the centre halves take a week to trot up and it's straight to the keeper.

That's another 3 games home & away with no points against teams we should be competing well against - depressing

I'm afraid to say guys, the season is over! We are virtually safe, maybe one more win needed but its all about who's going and just what can Gerrard bring in, we need a midfield leader and they are as rare as rocking horse ****. There is talk if a 150 mill war chest but with FFP, I cannot see it unless we sell off half the current squad. I could almost tell we were going to lose yesterday, wolves are fighting for Europe and have better players apart from their 45 million pound donkey up front. Nope, let's face it, time to get another hobby. I played golf yesterday, I would normally be streaming the villa with a beer thinking we can win only to be disappointed, I lost at golf, I'm not very good but I can only blame myself. Back to the squad, I think SG has to be brutal and get rid of: Konsa, Luiz, Horse, Sanson, Ings, Davis, Trez, Targett, Traore even Buendia if Coutinho stays. That lot could muster up say, 100 mill, But we need that leader and Mings or Mcginn are simply not that player.

The whole outfield squad, in any combination, or formation, is just not good enough for the top half premier league. We have been collecting average to poor players for far too long.

Time to rest Ramsey, drop his teammates in the middle and see what Carney, O'Reilly, and Iroegbunam can do, maybe continue with Sansom as the glue.

Then ‘BANG!!!’, wield the axe in the summer. Em1 and the Brazilian loanee, are the only two that I’d miss.
