It was clear from the presser he wouldn't feature when he was grouped in with 'Kairo, Ed etc...'

Happens all the time, players lose their place. And the coach doesn't have to say any more than 'competition for places' when the team is winning. However, his 11 goals and number of assists mean he's not like those others in that he's been a major contributor. This hopefully will be taken into account and we'll see him on the bench again, at least, very soon.
