I forgot to mention the tactics Lancaster.It is prehistoric football-soul destroying.It is horrible to watch.There was not a single moment in that game where you could have been happy with what you saw.It is not just SD.Brownhill needs outing immediately.I lost count of how many times he gives the ball away in dangerous areas.The rest of the old timers need putting out to graze-they are simply too slow to compete.
Mcneil,Pope,Tarks and Cornet are the only players in that team that are PL quality.One is going on a free so we are left with 3 quality players.There will be no return to the PL this time around.

Doing the same things over and over - we bought a forward who doesn’t want every ball in the air - it’s not his game at all and still we persist, surely when they train they’ve worked that out - somethings got to give under par performance ( not far off he’ll say ).

They played with purpose . Movement - speed , backing each other up and trying to create opportunities- I’m not saying they’re a great team but they do at least try and play decent football -we however are woeful.

Exactly Army-they deserved to win and we deserved to lose.There were times when we made them look like Barcelona.We looked like a bunch of players who had never played together before.
