Not that it should worry us, but why anyone know why it isn’t Wembley?

A typically weird National league decision. The current top 7 clubs are all level with or north of Birmingham, but they decide on a London location.

Why? Surely Villa Park or somewhere north would be available.

Rubbish choice. In view of the probability that the contesting clubs will be from the North and/or Midlands (not forgetting North Wales), the final should be somewhere further north. And somewhere smaller too, to create a bit more atmosphere.

There were plenty of possibilities, e.g. Villa Park, Stoke, either Sheffield ground, Bolton..... Typical of the National League!

Something to do with the Borehamwood Chairman still being on the board of the NL? Surprised it’s not at the Emirates, although the Wood are looking less and less likely to be involved now.

But selfishly it’s a pretty good option for me, head down the M11 and keep going until it ends and then A12 or a couple of hours on the train to Stratford via St Pancras.
