I'll make a prediction. whichever club Dyche ends up at, two years from now, they'll be higher in the League than Burnley.![]()
I'll take the bait and the bet!![]()
He may walk away from football management and do something else.
He may Sub, but I'll be very surprised if he does. He must love the job, or he wouldn't have spent ten years banging his head against a brick wall at Burnley, and he's clearly very good at it, why would he walk away from something he loves and he's good at ?
Not to mention the fact that the pay is rather good as well.![]()
The more I think about it WBA looks like the perfect fit for Sean in every way.Must look up the mileage between Kettering and West Bromwich![]()

.
an interesting read....but at no time was Dyche "forced" to do anything, if he didn't like the requests made of him, he could've walked, he didn't....in fact, on many occasions, he expressed his contentment with club and squad, in other words, he was comfortable with it and most importantly, His paycheck.
Also,, at no time did Mr Liew (the writer of the article) point out that for the whole season, Burnley have been rooted at the bottom of the table, have only 4 wins from 31 games...so why was there was no atrtempt to alter the tactics.....and his analysis obviously doesn't include Dyche when he says - "the problem was not that Burnley failed to evolve or adapt"....it's because we're just a "poor, small town club"...until a few lines later, when he then tells us that " Dyche is now one of the main architects of their downfall" .....Confused ?
Then...to flat cap it all, he takes us back to dark satanic mills and power looms with - "the industrial beauty of order and function, harmony and collective effort, 11 moving as one.
and that was it, I'd read enough - I dont know where it went from there, deeper deviations into lotusland i'd imagine - players on tens of thousands a week, playing in Clogs - Dyche's gazillions, cast in coal, a pick in one hand...and a box supplied by Pace inc with a slot in it in the other, "pay a quid to hear S.D's gravelly tones singing, Matchstalk Men & Matchstalk Cats & Dogs !
