    So

Have we established the real reason Dyche was sacked yet?
Must be more to it that just results surely?

Got to be more to it Norder, if 4 defeats in 6 games gets you the sack, he'd have been sacked 7 times last season and 4 times this season already before he did actually collect his p45.

there may well be more to it - Sinkov, but as I see it, what of all the games, us sitting in the relegation zone, losing to Norwich - having the least wins of any other PL team....that incessant, and worldly renowned, unmoving spazball....turning half decent players into footballing mongos....is that not enough ?....as for myself, all I question is - what took so long ?

    Edit.

how ever bad it thought -

    Dyche Didn't Resign

Non Disclosure Agreements and jeopardising compensation fees will prevent a full disclosure I feel, but it sounds like Dyche and Pace suddenly found it was time to get D-I-V-O-R-C-E-D.

The relationship was not working. I've been there, done that!

Dyche had valid complaints under Garlick. All we brought in was Dale Stephens.

Although the signings under ALK have not been mega-millions, they have been good quality and an improvement, if allowed to play to their strengths. Who knows what the transfer window holds this summer.

Pace, like many on here, will have been disappointed by how Dyche handled the new signings. They were made to fit into the existing system, not allowed to improve and expand the range of football - the “Burnley way”. What is the point of talking about improving the squad when there is no change when some quality is added?

My only criticism of Pace is that it should have happened earlier. Perhaps, like me, he thought that the Brighton match was a turning point. A false dawn as it turned out to be.

Again, Everton was a false dawn followed by the nightmare at Carrow Road.

We are where we are. There were encouraging signs at West Ham. If that is carried into the match against Southampton, there is still hope.

" having the least wins of any other PL team.."

It's not all bad Norder, we've conceded fewer goals than Manchester United.
