First half I thought we did ok, and when Tutu was injured then Ferguson came on I thought it was a good replacement. Then Barlaser had to come off so why didnt PW send Odoffin on as his replacement to keep the shape and formation we started with?. When he put Freddy on that was for me when it totally went wrong and we didn't have a proper central midfield player to sit there and allow Wiles, Rathbone and Lindsay to get forward and probe them, so everytime we lost the ball going forward they always seemed to find space to play the ball to their players, whereas Odoffin would have made that harder to do.
The second half was embarrassing for most of it and that last 10 mins onslaught shouldn't detract from that. I hope Barlaser is fit for saturday because he is the difference, for me, between automatic or play offs and on recent showings I wouldn't feel confident about the play offs.
All in all another bad day at the office even though MK keep trying to hand it to us on a plate, but onto saturday and see which Rotherham United turn up. UTM

Wednesday had to rely on a second half penalty to beat already relegated Crewe. There are going to be so many twists and turns.MKD play Morcombe next, on paper looks a home banker but the Shrimps need points as well.We have got to be fully wound up for Saturday with less hoof ball and have the three midfielders further forward linking with Smith and play Ogbene as a number ten.Stick to the back three that started and bring in Odoffin to play in front of them with Tutu out wide.Still all to play for. We really need to score first in our next games as we usually go on to win. Not guaranteed though

Do the exact opposite and conceding after 3 mins there was an air of inevitability about what the outcome was going to be

I follow said it was tactical taking Barlaser off, I'm not sure. Need him. I keep saying playing Tutu on the left there's no cover then for whose playing on the left of the back 3. Harding is no left wing back he's a right sided defender who can play on the left of the back 3. Lindsay had a disappointing game. Ladapo may as well been sat with me. If Ferguson is injured only option I can see is move Chioe wide left. Can Odoffin play centre back? If he can play him there in place of Wood. Edmunds Green can definitely play right wing back. New side for Saturday

    Victor

    Harding Odoffin Ihiekwe

Edmunds Green Rathbone Barlaser Wiles Chioe

In the last 3 games it would really help if the players were both focussed and calm, especially so in the first and last 10 minutes of each half. Whoever grabs the Autos will have earned it - only Wigan look like one of them at the moment and even they are wobbling a bit

I don’t think Warne does tbh

They won't win another game this season.
The self belief has gone, physiologically they are also gone.

Awful game to watch last night on an awful pitch.
Not using injuries as an excuse however Tutu going off injured and Ferguson injured soon after he came on didn't help.
Smith hardly won a ball in the air all night, dominated by their defenders.
Lindsay had a poor game and so did Wes Harding and quite a few others didn't turn up either.

Two poor goals to give away, both from set pieces, poor defending.

Give Burton some credit they did a job on us... another one bites the dust.

It's not looking good for Shane Ferguson, he left Burton with a protective boot on, sounds like a ' plantar facia issue' so don't expect him to play against Oxford.
Tutu took a knock to his ankle and he may or may not be fit for Saturday, assessment later in the week.
Odoffin can play Centre defensive midfield, Centre-Back and Right-Back. I doubt he will pick Odoffin or Kelly.

It won't make any difference what team he picks, they have to perform on the pitch.

Wednesdays in form, not playing to 100% yet still winning games. Remind you of anyone earlier in the season?
They have the momentum to win all three remaining games, I wouldn't bet against them doing it either. Worst ending to a season for a long long while.

Wednesday will not have it easy down at Wycombe on Saturday.
