It’s our turn to be in the firing line from other clubs, I appreciate that...but personally I can’t be bothered at the moment given the standard of posts and the apparent lack of a moderator.

I see the HMRC debt has now risen to 36 million - presumably because we havent been paying them payroll deductions since the first administrators report? (Administrators 2nd Progress Report (all 86 pages of it) is on file at Companies House if anyone cares to look).

Administrators cost are now excess of 2 million (at 21-03) and legal another 1 million. Looks like the lawyers involved in the appeal against the initial 12 point penalty for entering administration cost about 335,000. Seems a lot when it seems a pretty clear cut rule/penalty.

3.75 million raised by player sales

£ 266 received in donations - and here was me thinking the fans had put their hands in their pockets to help out!!

    Taken from today's Derby Telegraph:
In an Administrator's progress report posted yesterday [Thursday] Quantuma confirmed the preferred bidder status of Kirchner.
The report also showed MSD Holdings have lent a further £3.5m to 'facilitate the continuation of trade during the Administration Period' taking the total owed to £24m.
Commenting on the latest report on Twitter, football finance expert Kieran Maguire says the HMRC total claim against the club is £36m, up from £28m, and administration costs are "substantially" higher than original estimates. He adds that factoring in legal and other expenses the total is looking at £3.5-£4m.

HMRC - if they accept CKs 35% offer they'll get £12.6M.

Do Administrators get the full whack or would Quantuma also get 35%?

    what do you think MA!!

Administrators fees, like liquidators fees, always need 100% settlement before anyone else gets a penny - unless they agree otherwise

I actually don't give a scabid rats arse what self proclaimed football finance expert Maguire says: just read the report! He is the classic "in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king" person

Don’t buy this “football is a family” rubbish

All opposition fans are baying for blood daily, they want us gone, why I don’t know because a club like ours going under should scare the sh*t out of them esp Birmingham who have massive debts and a stadium they can’t even fill the two opened stands, the others are closed off

It’s a family when it suits, they don’t give a damn when the boot is on the other foot and/or the flavour of the month to kick whoever when their down

I’ve actually heard QPR fans call us cheats and want actually want us to be fined for owing money to HMRC... if that’s not irony I dunno what is

Football fans are thick as pig s*it and fickle with it

Some people can see the value in others, you clearly have selective vision in that regard.

The comment you didnt understand is in relation to a little snippet I saw in the administrators report where they mention that they have "unpaid claims for subsistence expenses of £ 1-34" against, IFIRC, "Stadia" and some other trivial claims against some of the other 6 entities in administration. At £ 350 an hour you'd hope they bought their own crisps!

Why are "my skills" such that they demand a higher reward? Don't know, always have been, hopefully for a few more years they will continue to be. No different to lawyers or similar business related professions I guess. Its supply and demand. As the great George Bernard Shaw put it - those that can, do; those that can't, teach
Old chestnut! He’d obviously never met any advisors...and very few politicians.

But seriously...how can Q, who I’m imagining are glorified accountants at best, justify £350 per hour which I had no idea they were charging until you dropped that into the mix. Isn’t that just guaranteed to make DCFC’s situation worse and encourage Q to take their time reaching a resolution?

What’s the difference between an accountant and an angry rhino? The accountant charges more.

Of course it is and of course it is.

But that's what they charge: if you can find someone cheaper to do it, with their experience, go ahead! Read the report, you may well see charge out rates in excess of 350 for the top guys. An experienced commercial lawyer in the City can run you north of 500 an hour, and dont even think of getting a New York medmal lawyer as you'll be looking at over 1000 an hour (pounds, as well as dollars)

And if they succeed in selling the club, thus allowing it to resurrect itself in League 1 and move toward a brighter future, all for the cost of a little more than the bottom half of Jacob Butterfield, some might see it as a bargain.

NB if you reply to DCFCA please don't quote him as I'm trying to avoid the chimps tea party responses by keeping him on ignore, despite the temptation to see what bile emerges next.

All clubs are in debt and it never gets paid back ever, all clubs owe about a trillion it’ll never get repaid, football is a big Ponzi scheme hiding under the illusion of wealthy owners

Man United and Burnley go look them up, neither were brought out with their owners cash, they were brought out by the clubs own cash flow ffs, Neither if their owners have ever spent a penny of their own money because they don’t have any
