Prando, I always look for your posts as a voice of reason.
I stayed to the end, hence there for the last kick of the game which was the penalty.
Before the game we knew we HAD TO WIN otherwise we were staying in this division (I know we were staying in it anyway but without the WIN the maths was over). In one kick the final nail was put in the coffin.
To accentuate the positives, the beer and the company before the match was good.
After the match, the train service which runs from Birmingham to the West, which has been running at a reasonable level of service recently plummeted to new depths today.
Trains cancelled left right and centre from before kick off to well after the match finished. I walked to Galton Bridge and still had to wait until a train came at virtually 6pm running 10 minutes late. The train arrived as 2 carriages. It was rammed, a fair few people at Galton Bridge, most of which weren't able to get on. When I got off at Rowley, there were people picking fights as they got off the train with people who were still on there. Never seen anything like it.
