    Yet Another spiritless performance

2 golden 1st half chances wasted by both TGH (open goal) and Grant’s outrageous attempt at lifting it over the keeper. (No one challenging at just the keeper to beat) Apart from that Grant was missing all match, but reappeared to take the last minute penalty, demonstrating his carefree and careless attempt.
Reach was dire and certainly should have been taken off….yet Bruce has said on radioWM he played well ?
Clarke, O’Shea and AJ did ok (clean sheet) albeit with a few heart in mouth moments.
Townsend getting back to his better days.
Molumby dreadful and lucky to avoid a couple of bookings - a dangerous part of his game.
    Livermore did ok
Button kept us in the game with a couple of essential saves.
TGH disappointed and again showed some petulance narrowly avoiding the book. Has his rise to fame gone to his head ?
Carroll won the ball, laid it off and showed what spirit and commitment is all about. Clearly should have taken the penalty.
Subs (Matty and Grady) did ok, but substitutions at 67 mins too late. Reach,Grant and Molumby should have gone off at half time.
Apart from that I enjoyed my pre match beer in the ground with SHMBO.
(Trying hard to Accentuate the Positives and avoid the Negatives…but difficult)

Good summing up Prando and everyone can see Molumby is shocking and not even shining in the worst West Brom team for years! Then we go and buy him!! You can’t make it up!

Grant and Robinson completely lazy and ask any Huddersfield supporter what they think of Grant? Huddersfield are in that position for a reason and Luton are there because they have everything our players don’t - desire - fight - passion and commitment to the badge!

Attendances will be lucky to average 15,000 with Bruce and this bunch of misfits! I hope our promising youngsters leave and find a club where they will get opportunities!!! Zero to play for with us and still NO opportunities!

Prando, I always look for your posts as a voice of reason.
I stayed to the end, hence there for the last kick of the game which was the penalty.
Before the game we knew we HAD TO WIN otherwise we were staying in this division (I know we were staying in it anyway but without the WIN the maths was over). In one kick the final nail was put in the coffin.
To accentuate the positives, the beer and the company before the match was good.
After the match, the train service which runs from Birmingham to the West, which has been running at a reasonable level of service recently plummeted to new depths today.
Trains cancelled left right and centre from before kick off to well after the match finished. I walked to Galton Bridge and still had to wait until a train came at virtually 6pm running 10 minutes late. The train arrived as 2 carriages. It was rammed, a fair few people at Galton Bridge, most of which weren't able to get on. When I got off at Rowley, there were people picking fights as they got off the train with people who were still on there. Never seen anything like it.

Pretty much agree with most of your comments, but who picked Reach to play at right wing back when everyone knows he only uses his right foot for standing on? I do seriously wander what we do on the training ground all week and would love to know how Bruce and his 3 Muppets actually thought we were going to score today, we have no tactics and no style of play for me at the moment everything is negative.

To average teams cancelling each other out and KG touching ball a dozen or so times, when of them a penalty miss.

    Molumby running around doing nothing.

I really hope someone buys this tur d and someone takes MP for anything, even some spare kits.

The couple who sit behind us come from the Stourbridge area and were 15 mins late owing to cancelled trains. I guess they must have experienced the same as you on the way home. Such a shame to see a resort to violence as you experienced starG buddy.
PS Did you have a beer at the ground prematch ?

We had a curry pre-match in the Soho and even that place was very quiet. It was the highlight of the day, though! As for the ‘match’, a lacklustre performance by both teams; I was surprised that Coventry didn’t give it a real go, as they still had an outside chance of the play-offs. I just cannot understand Steve Bruce’s team selection, just hopeless. Grant is a useless t**t, dreadful penalty; the previous one took lacked conviction, too, he’s another player that needs to be got rid of, his first touch is terrible and as for the first half miss, we’ll, words fail me.
