    Hypocracy reaches new heights.

Apparently, Starmer was filmed at an event drinking beer during lockdown last year. The party claimed that no rules were broken and that he was at a meeting with a local MP and that they had stopped for a food break and that no rules were broken. Where have we heard that before? They also claimed that Angela Raynor was not present at this event. Then guess what? They admitted that she was there but a Labour spokesman told the BBC that it was a 'mistake' and not a 'cover up.' Are we expected to believe that? The meeting by the way was not at Starmer's usual office and that there was no need for him to be there.

This is in no way excuses what the Tories have done but the word hypocracy does not cover what happened. It is unbelievable how the Labour Party have gone on and on about these parties only for it to come to light that they have done exactly the same thing with exactly the same excuses. You couldn't make it up!

I've said this all along. ALL of them would have been doing it. It doesn't make it right but throwing stones and glass houses comes to mind.

It doesn't matter who they are they should be brought to book. I couldn't see my mom for a year while they were having parties.
Take no notice, just accept that we are peasants and they are our masters.

Provided the rules that were applied at the time were followed it surely doesn't matter? If a few MPs (of any Party) stopped off at a pub to eat and had a drink at a time when the Covid rules allowed members of the public to do the same then there is no issue. If there were larger gatherings of MPs (of any party) at a time when Covid restrictions prohibited such meetings then that is another matter. All depends on the timings of these events and what restrictions were in place at those particular times because, as we all know, the rules changed over the course of the pandemic . Don't know enough of the details of this myself yet to call out "hypocrisy" or not. If it is, then Starmer has gone way down in my estimation and those involved should be dealt with -but don't forget it is The Mail pushing the story.

If everything was above board, then why deny that Angela Raynor was present and then admit that she was? Has all the trade marks of a 'cover up' to me.

Like Boris tried to do?, as far as i'm aware Starmer hasn't lied to parliament, this story has been picked up by the Sun and the Daily Mail both of which have said that Boris should be left alone now, to let him get on with his job, but are now going after Starmer, with the local elections less than a week away(shock), although it's pretty obvious with all the stories coming out of Parliament at the moment that a lot of our MP'S from all parties can't be trusted.
