You deserve where you deserve to finish. This is a typical example here of where we've struggled throughout our time at this level is that away from home we just simply are not good enough to be challenging up there.

Compare our home record with Stockport and we have two points more than them, but away from home they have gained an extra 14 points more than us.

To be fair, a lot of Football Radar signings have been decent or good ones - far better than we recruited in previous years - but there's no disputing Brunt has been a complete dud for us.
I have to agree the recruitment is far better than the Guy Branston days but at the end of the day, as the results and league position shows, it still hasn't been good enough.

We've lost the plot in this second half and offered nothing. No hunger, no desire, no drive and no energy. That's the worse part. It's not like we've been knocking on the door and the keeper has made save after save.

Stockport beat all of the bottom 6 away.
Wrexham beat all of the bottom 6 away.

Notts on the verge of dropping 8 points to teams in the bottom 6 away.

As many have said, it's what we haven't signed that has let us down. We've been crying out for a couple of big, rugged National League 'beasts' to put some backbone into the team, but we haven't signed them yet, and it leads to shaky performances like today's against very average opposition. It's the glaring weakness that needs to be addressed in the summer.

We are not showing the ambition to go for 3rd place. We seem content to take 5th at best.

I guess that just exposes our need for an actual 'manager'. Burchnall may well be a good coach but his man-management and motivating skills are atrocious.

The players should be ashamed of themselves if they aren't even trying, i guess that also exposes the need for a rebuild in the summer, get rid of the deadwood who barely try and sign some players that actually care.
