Yeah maybe - thought we were in the game until Dallas got injured. At least playing players In their right positions happened today.

The defense was solid prior to Dallas going off our problem is in attack Rodrigo was shyte didn't even string a pass together Harrison was once again meow, Raph was just raph of the second half of the season, James brings F all. Even Phillips looked like going through the motion showed stuff all interest. We might as well pack our bags it's not happening.

Soon as they scored the 2nd they eased up and we had a little spell but they were never in danger of losing that game - not knocking our lads they did put in some effort.

Think 4-0 looks / feels harsh, but its zero points that matter. Having players ( defenders ) in their natural positions - Koch / Struijk much more effective. Phillips looks rusty, maybe uninterested, and until Gelhardt came on, toothless up front. Looks like its the Brighton / Brentford games that will decide our fate.

We did our best against the best but the best were realistically only in 3rd gear.
We didn't deserve to win, that's for sure, but if not for an instinct save and a header off the line we could have had a couple of goals. Luck certainly wasn't on our side. Would have been interesting to see the reaction had either/both gone in.

7-0 is a hammering, home or away.

City was tired mate and never got out of gear. They still scored 4 playing pedestrian football. But like you say luck wasn't with us starting prior to the game. They all tried but we are not on the same level.

Different level entirely, even if we get a miracle and stay up, which I very much doubt, next season will be no different, pity the top 6 didn't sod off to their multi million euro league and let the league become slightly more even.

Think only City and Liverpool are in a different league - we should have beaten Chelsea and Spuds away. We definitely need a better snd deeper should next year if we stay up.
