Every squad needs an inventive player that is going to take people on.

Things are not happening for him for a while now and I fully agree with benching him but not selling him. If he is shocking between Aug and Dec, I'll concur that he should be sold in Jan. But for now, keep faith in the player and Edward Howe, esq to turn him round.
I agree, but I think the lad is almost burnt out. He's been depended upon week in and week out to perform miracles and sometimes carry the team. This began long before E.H. arrived and since then granted it's been a bit easier for him because others have come more into it and began pulling their weight. But the onus has been mostly on him to perform in an extra special manner.

Aye, exactly, Pat. Him and Wilson have carried the team for two years-and, as Trini says, he gives us something nobody else in the team can.

Obviously he has to change next season but, he's clearly got the skills and, in Howe, he's got a manager who can get the best out of him so he can do it. And if he does, we'll have some bloody player on our hands.
