    No.

Specifically for the reason that Notts seem unable to put a few wins on the bounce together which would be needed for the play-offs. I'd have said the same in the wake of a more positive last result too.

We could well be looking at needing three wins in the play offs, all away (counting Wembley as away)

So far this season (league only) we've managed.
4 wins on the bounce - once (three of these were at home)
2 wins on the bounce - four times (two were home doubles whilst the other two were both an away win followed by a home win).

On away games only we've only once won back to back games (Yeovil followed by Grimsby) which was during the most encouraging sequence of the season so far....

    Sat 9 Oct yeovil town W 2-0
    Sat 23 STOCKPORT CO W 2-1
    Tue 26 BROMLEY D 1-1
    Sat 30 grimsby town W 1-0
    Sat 13 Nov SOLIHULL M. W 2-0

I have a feeling we will finish 6 or 7 and lose in the 1st round of playoffs.
That will mean a steady decline, season on season since we have been down here.

You're looking good to be two tiers above Notts for the first time ever and you'd be well entitled to put pressure on Radio Nottingham for them to cover Stags with live commentaries rather than Notts in those circumstances.
God help us if Hucknall Town got their act together again, our claim to be Nottinghamshire's 3rd biggest club would soon be under threat.

That is a really sobering and scary assessment of how far we have fallen and could fall.

I fully expect Radio Nottingham to switch their DAB to the Stag. Why would you continue to air a club that clearly has found it's level in non league over a club on the up?

Maybe Notts will prove me wrong and get promoted but I very much doubt that.

Not yet. While ever we still have a chance I won't be planning to change my mind.
