    Ladapo

Obviously he was not in the squad again and I doubt if he was even in Kent for the game. The guy went from Hillsbrough Hero to absolute Zero.

What was this man thinking about? A chance to continue being a part of something special and he turns his back on it and his work mates. Having asked for a transfer in the most bizarre way it looks like the management team stood by him and kept giving him game time. They dropped him because of form and to be fair any other manager would have done the same. From dropping to the bench he dropped out of the squad at the very time we needed a striker to take some weight off the injured Smith.

Now his value is much lower but is he totaly damaged goods? I don't think that he'll be out of a job but his transfer value will have been effected! The £400k + add ons will be difficult to recoup but will we get another club to take him on loan? If we extended his contract then he'll be stuck with us for another year but with what's gone on would it be worth it? What value is he now?

Do we let him go for nothing and give him what he wants or work with him and try and get the best out of him for the club. Do we send him out on loan or sell him cheap?

    Unbeleivable situation!

Frog, I drew up a similar lengthy post the other day and it failed before I had chance to post it...doh!

My opinion is he has caused untold damage to the club. He set disarray amongst what was a difficult run in with a transfer request, under performed when given a clean slate to start again and most of all showed his ignorance and arrogance by not being with the team when not picked, unlike Will Grigg.

Unless there is an underlying personal reason for him not to have been with the team for the last few games, then he needs getting rid of asap! Moreover, why should we extend his contract in the hope someone comes along and offers a paltry sum for him? In the meantime we will have been paying half his wage while on loan. His part wage we may have to pay him may not cover what we get in return for him.

He's a player showing a bad attitude and disrespecting his fellow team mates, like I said if it's something else then it will all come out and my post is wrong, however, if it's the latter of him showing pure ignorance then there's no place for him at our club. It's easy for me to say this as it's not my money I'm trying to recoup but, surely even Tony should know we don't need him here if he's really that arrogant in trying to finalise a move away.

Complains that he isn't in the starting 11, then gets a good run in the team and scores a fair few...then puts a transfer request in after getting what he wants.
    Baffling!!!

He's a quitter, just look at his past record, more clubs than Jack Nicklaus

As for recruitment we now have other empty squad slots with REG and Tu-Tu departing

The matter just seems to have an unsavoury feeling about it.I could be wrong because ,like everyone,I don't know the facts. The sad thing about Ladapo is that he has been with us for 3 years and his stats are very good, contrary to some opinions of him. I think time will have to tell on this one with regards to where he goes and how he progresses but I cannot see how RUFC can trigger the 1 year extension and commit to around 170K in wages and hope someone nips in with a bid in excess of that in August.Any club wanting to pounce will be keeping quiet until July anyway. In addition to that is that you can't put a value on someone hanging around the place who doesn't want to be there and holding up plans of finding a suitable replacement.

He’s let himself and everyone down, get rid asap but I’m not going to abuse the lad, he’s scored some great goals for us and grateful for that

Neil Harris said he needs new players after the crap he inherited from Evans.
    L2 is about his level.

Once A Miller. Always …….never mind
