As for recruitment we now have other empty squad slots with REG and Tu-Tu departing

The matter just seems to have an unsavoury feeling about it.I could be wrong because ,like everyone,I don't know the facts. The sad thing about Ladapo is that he has been with us for 3 years and his stats are very good,contrary to some opinions of him. I think time will have to tell on this one with regards to where he goes and how he progresses but I cannot see how RUFC can trigger the 1 year extension and commit to around 170K in wages and hope someone nips in with a bid in excess of that in August.Any club wanting to pounce will be keeping quiet until July anyway.In addition to that is that you can't put a value on someone hanging around the place who doesn't want to be there and holding up plans of finding a suitable replacement.

If the club frees him from his contract there will be a loyalty bonus to pay. If we sold him then he isn't entitled to that because he hanbded in a transfer request.
It all depends on what date the extension was agreed.
