Doesn’t sound good after a decent season in division one.

Can anything else go wrong with this wretched season ?

Let's hope he can make a full recovery and we see him in a red shirt asap .

At least we know he isn't going anywhere now .

He played against us for Oxford at NYS recently.
Looked decent although Robinson blamed him for our equaliser just before half time.
He limped off at half time with what may have been a groin injury and didn't turn out for the second half.
I hope for his sake it's not an ACL injury or anything too serious.

Luke Thomas and Jack Aitchson will be back next season to bolster Midfield whilst Herbie gats fit! So no need to worry?……….MY GOD!

I don't think a fit Herbie Kane would have come back to Barnsley, a deal for him to stay at Oxford would have been done imo.

Maybe now he has no choice.

Jack may well fit into 3rd tier football better than the majority of the current squad what will be left of it.

Reading across various Reds football platform's , i think some may be getting carried away with the introduction of some of our Academy player's of late ? Whilst some may progress and be around the first team next season ? Others if not released may need more time , we've seen it before many times , for Aiden Marsh read Danny Rose , Rose in comparative year's was a better player in my opinion, For Matty Wolfe read Paul Digby and yet again I would have to choose Digby, as we all know these lad's need a older head alongside them for obvious reasons, I love the fact these lads are getting a chance , I wish we had a team full of our Academy player's , it's not going to happen though in the current state we are in, Some good recruitment is needed , definitely some experience , and most certainly a HC from within GB who has more of a understanding of our leagues , and sorry to say but Martin Devaney wouldn't be my choice ," great clubman and youth coach",

Its a shame for Kane, hes never been the same without Paul Bearer as his manager. 😅

I reckon a quick deal with Oxford was going to happen, but who knows now. Does Herbie even want to be with our club anymore, I bet he dun't and who could blame him.
