Yes he chipped in quite considerably with his goals and I’m sure others like myself, thank him for that but, it’s still a bizarre way to try to establish a move elsewhere don’t you think?
Why didn’t he ask the club to quietly put the feelers out to southern clubs to assist his needs?

The rumours of a bust up in the changing room may only be speculation but if true, now there’s a brotherly bond that was broken that may have well never got mended.

I have no idea what the motivation for his transfer request was, whether he has fallen out with his workmates (it happens) or how the club has treated him. That's why I think it a bit out of order for him to get the slagging that he has off some people.

To date, I think only one poster who has put forward an explanation - family illness. If that's true then maybe we should cut the bloke some slack? No?

I agree if that’s the real reason it answers a lot of questions and yes give him the deserved slack.
