Agree 100%,it does not say much for the current team and our never ending conveyor belt of youth talent if missing Butcher and Harkes has you writing off our whole post split fixture list.

Exactly, we had the option to have a stronger starting team, yet failed to do so. Why do others keep defending the negative tactics from our inexperienced manager, and cite Harkes & Butcher missing as the reason for our displays. Btw, nothing stopping Butch from playing, so his omission is on the manager. You pick your best team, and don’t let distractions get in the way, simples!

Apparently the players don't want him anywhere near the team. If true, then the manager is making a decison for the good of the team. Its far too easy to pass judgement and blame the manager for certain things without knowing the truth ourselves.

“Apparently” says it all really, who knows the real situation?…

Edited to add: Surely team results (i.e. league position) trumps team harmony? Also suggests Courts is weak (IMO)

The post split fixtures for us were always going to be about the two versus Motherwell and Ross County. We're half way there on that front.

But can't you see these two things are highly likely to be related?

No, Benji been making howlers in several games with Butch nowhere in sight! (e.g. Fundee, Hearts, today v Rangers). Would rather have Butch in the team, and any other keeper!

None of us, but you're quite happy blaming Courts and suggesting he's weak. For all we know the decision might've been made by those above him. He did say after the Fun game that Butcher didn't play based on the information that was available to him at that time. If Butcher has been disciplined by the club to the point that he no longer plays, then that won't have been the managers decison.

Accepting a 2-0 defeat from Rangers is a loser mentality. Sadly, this mentality is rife throughout our squad and a fair percentage of our support. People hoping that we simply avoid being gubbed by the OF end up getting what they want and then regard it in a positive light. £uck that, to me every defeat hurts.

It's been 20 years since we beat a Premiership Rangers team at Ibrox. You can hardly blame anyone for having that kind of mentality.
