I think that type of football works a whole lot better with players that cost ****ing millions, as opposed to the level we play at mate

I freely admit i do not get any enjoyment watching United anymore and gave away my season ticket more times this season than any other in my lifetime.I will never forget the wise words of Tony when he asked us if we were happy watching that?,referring to the football played under Micky Mellon.
He was correct in his observations of course but at least under Micky we only had to watch on our lockdown TV's,he then appoints Tam and subject's us to the same auld shyte live in the flesh and has the cheek to ask us for season ticket money for 22/23 when we are still watching mind numbing football in 21/22.
The saying he can sell sand to the Arabs describes Tony Asghar to a tee as over 4000 fans have signed up for more next season,i unfortunately am hitherto not included.

It's everyone's right to do what they see fit with their money mate, I know United have cost you far more than they have ever cost me. I couldn't tell you exactly how many times I watched the beautiful football we played in the eighties without paying at all but it was a lot. Usually I got a lift over the turnstiles or on some occasions (notably the 5-0 Borussia Munchengladbach game) climbed over the wall and hid in the toilets. We will never see that beauty again unfortunately and today's fare pales miserably in comparison admittedly, but European football in his first season( if we get it obviously) with a poor and unbalanced squad has got to be worth giving the man some credit. Even if you haven't enjoyed the football mate, you at least still try to remain humerous and offer genuine insight. Craigbrew is just a tedious bore in my own honest opinion and is quick to get offensive too. I sincerely hope you change your mind on the season ticket mate as I know how much United mean to you, and I hope you will be rewarded with a better and more balanced squad next season that is a bit more bang for your buck.

There is a key difference between what Mellon achieved and what Courts has: top six. Add to that the possibility of finishing high enough for European football and the difference is even more stark.

It sounds to me like you should perhaps call it a day? If you don't want to go and would rather do something else, what's the point?

However, the fact you have the choice on whether or not you continue to go and watch United is a very precious thing.
