The way S****horpe are being run, it would not shock me if they dropped again next season
Our old friend is never far from controversy - I wonder if he got a slice of the 50k additional promotion clause written into the transfer of Scunny's Ryan Loft to the Gas transfer in January ?
Watching the highlights the debutant 17 y.o. keeper seems as intent on stopping Roverzzz retrieving the ball as he does in stopping the initial efforts on goal. The comparative continuity of team selection over the last few games means no League rules were breached but it certainly stinks.
Will match officials, consciously or otherwise, favour the Cobblers in the play-offs ?

The Jim Rodwell curse.
Played for three league clubs, Darlington, Rushden & Diamonds, Boston.
Then was in charge at Boston when they were given the double relegation punishment and then Notts and Scunny making it 5 out of 5 league clubs who've dropped into non-league since he was with them.
Since then had a spell at Sunderland who are currently suffering their longest spell in the 3rd tier. Now at Hull.
Born in Lincoln as well, who were the first club to ever be relegated to non-league.
Aided by Rodwell's Medusa touch or not, they've certainly fallen very far, very fast from the pre-pandemic days of an on-loan Ivan Toney banging in goals for a promotion-chasing League One team.
The second-year scholar who set the ball rolling with an og on Saturday has been released from the club.
I’ve found the answer.
Lund was there. Turner had left for Grimsby (in a Lund swap deal) and a certain Gary Strodder would also play for Lincoln that season.

And Colin Murphy got them back up….
